Sobol-Rossi House, 1226 B Street


The Sobol-Rossi House was built about 1874 on what was then newly cutover redwood forest land. A little settler’s cabin among the massive stumps, no doubt, the house continues to recall a past time with its space, and architecture of 6/6 windows, gable roofline and cutout porch ornamentation. The house has just recently passed from the Sobol-Rossi family ownership after more than eighty years.
