HSSA is proud to present to you four interactive online walking tours of Arcata’s architecture. We divided our City into the downtown Plaza, plus three sections:
Susie Van Kirk, well-known Arcata historian, searched deeds, old newspapers, and local histories to bring together this information about Arcata’s historical sites. Susie died in 2016. Her collected papers are in the Susie Van Kirk Collection at Humboldt State University.

Touring East Arcata can be also walked, but you might choose to travel it by automobile.
